My Journey to a Healthy me, Days 96 & 97

Well, I am getting back into my grove a bit. Still got some struggles. I need to get back to blogging each day. Yesterday was just really not much to talk about, so I figured I would combine it with today.

I’ve been assembling a few items so I can start making a few different meals. I’ll be making some wings, and chicken crust pizza for sure 😉

Today, I have had some cravings. Well, a bit yesterday too. Hit up Target yesterday, after getting the tire fixed on the car. Of course, Easter candy is 50% off. All the things I love. Cadbury eggs, cadbury minis, white chocolate reeses, jelly beans, robin eggs, and all the other sweets. Well, the wife did have to get a few of them. I’ve been wanting to eat some so badly. Even a few minutes ago, I wanted to grab a handful of robin eggs. My brain was trying to justify it. I just know I can’t do it now. I just can’t let myself do it. Maybe I need to make one of the Keto desserts or something, to satisfy that sweet kick. I know though, that I don’t need it. I know it is just what I was eating in New York, and my body just wants to keep eating them. It is the same cycle I felt when I first got into Keto in the beginning of the year. I’ll get past it. 🙂

Lots of Hockey today

We had 2 games to go to today. First we had the Barracuda game at 1 pm. I made sure to eat before going. The Barracuda ended up winning, and it was quite fun.

Then tonight, we had the San Jose Sharks fan appreciation night. The game wasn’t so fun, the Sharks played poorly. Still, I did have fun. I also ate before coming to the game, and just had water with me. A lot more people at the professional games. Which meant a lot more food smells. Boy, did that stuff smell good. Still, I stuck to my water.

Food:

04/06 MyFitnessPal – 1534 Calories, 16 net carbs. Ended up being a sort of accidental 20-21 hour fast. I didn’t eat until 2-2:30 pm.

04/07 MyFitnessPal – 1639 Calories, 10 net carbs. Had some McDonalds salad, and chicken breasts I had prepared previously. Also added in some meatballs 😉

Sleep:

Ohh, I have been bad here.

04/06 – I got to sleep at 1:21 am. Woke up at 9:22 am. So I got my sleep in at least. Just my hours were not good. At least I did have a decent sleep.

04/07 – Ohh man, I really pushed it last night. I didn’t go to bed until 3:41 am to 8 am. Man that was a mistake. I just wanted to read a lot though, so I let myself read.

I’m running behind a bit already tonight, so I hope to get to bed in about an hour (12:30 am) I really need to get this nailed down asap.

Tomorrow

I am going with my oldest son to see Ready Player One in the morning. Monday morning, I am planning to see Black Panther. So I am excited there.

I’ve also been really feeling more and more that I need to do more. I hate that I am not walking as much as I thought I would be by now. So Monday, I am planning on jump starting again. I feel like I want to start getting workouts in as well, and want to get running. I might not quite be ready for running, but I can do the other things.

It really is time for me to do more then Lazy Keto.
