My Journey to a Healthy Me, Day 122

This morning, I did not want to go out and run. I was trying to fight it so much. Checking other things, trying to delay it until I gave in. Too bad for fat me, I did it anyway. 🙂

Even when I was doing the runs, I wanted to stop. I had to keep telling myself I could do it. It felt like I was done after each run. Like no way I could push to do another. I just kept trying. Funny enough, It is the farthest I have done. I was pushing harder then I wanted to, even with me wanting to stop. Healthy me, back behind the scenes, taking over! I was happy that I did it, and did not give into the “done run” impulses.

In phone news, Verizon is sending me a replacement for my phone. Should be here tomorrow. I hope that it will not crash on me like the current one has been.

I also made cheesecake a bit ago. It’s cooling now. I’ll take pictures tomorrow when I take it out of the fridge. First time I ever made a cheesecake.


I failed at trying to make low carb tortilla. I went on a couple of walks to get in my steps. I also picked up my car from the service department, and played with some friends online for a bit. Got to reading, and bed on time.


05/01 MyFitnessPal – 1657 Calories, 11 net carbs, 64 oz of water tracked. Pretty boring day food wise I suppose. I had hoped to perfect those tortillas, and have some tacos. Eating done in my eating window, so Intermittent fasting is still going well. Blood sugars were also decent levels yesterday.


12:10 am to 8:51 am. 7 hrs 51 mins. 20 x awake for 50 mins total. I woke up a few times last night that I can remember. So sleep was a little broken up. Here is to hoping I get some solid sleep tonight!


7,577 steps. 92 active minutes. Walk one in the morning. My son was sick, so there would be no extra steps picking him up from school. I headed out for a second walk, after I was done playing World of Warcraft. I almost didn’t do it. The healthy me prevailed again.

This Week

More planning. Wife has been applying to a few places. So we are starting to get things ready to pack up. Even if she gets a decent job up here, we will need to move. Hopefully, finding a place here.

I’ve got a few more recipes I want to make. First, I need to get the dishes done!

I’ll have bowling at night, so I need to get most my steps in my morning walk.

  1. Yo, sorry about the tortillas man it happens but you should definitely keep trying! The fact that you didn’t want to run but you did let’s me know you now have full control man! That counts as 2 workouts in my book. I’ll pray that your wife finds a job that will keep you all! Keep up the great work man, beast mode ain’t the only one killing the bay area!lol
